Since its April 2004 initial public offering, Assured has materially expanded its direct market presence, including both the asset-backed securities and structured finance markets, and in mid-2007 launched a major expansion in the U.S. public finance market, realizing a 30% market share in that market for the first quarter of 2008. Assured has also expanded its global market presence, with offices in both London and Sydney, Australia.

Assured Guaranty (UK) Ltd., our London-based financial guaranty company, is authorized to write insurance in the United Kingdom as well as the 27 countries in the European Economic Area.
